Volunteer FAQ


  1. How Many Shifts Do I have to work and for how many hours?
    1. There is no requirement, but the volunteer golf outing requires at least 3 shifts (4-6 hours each)
  2. Do I need to be a golfer or have golf knowledge to volunteer?
    1. No, you do not! There are several different committees that require no golf knowledge. Committee Descriptions
  3. Is there a minimum age to volunteer?
    1. yes, you must be 18 to qualify for the normal volunteer package, but junior volunteers (13-17) we can accept for certain committees>
  4. Is there a fee to volunteer?
    1. Yes, a fee of $35, that includes your volunteer shirt, hat, credentials, GA tickets, meals, and the opportunity for a volunteer outing
  5. How do I get my volunteer package?
    1. volunteer packages can be picked up at volunteer orientation. Volunteer orientation’s location and pick-up time is TBD.
  6. What should I wear with my uniform?
    1. Ladies can wear Khaki pants/capris/shorts/skirts. Men can wear khaki pants/shorts. no jeans or cargo style shorts
  7. Can I be scheduled at the same time as my spouse, friend, etc?
    1. We will try to accommodate your scheduling requests as best we can.
  8. How do I know what committee I am assigned to?
    1. Once you have registered you will receive an email confirming your selection based off of the preferences you marked while signing up.
  9. How and when will I receive schedule information?
    1. You will help us create your schedule by filling out your availability online. Then your chairperson will make the schedule and send it to you.
  10. Can I watch golf when I am not working?
    1. Yes, your credential is valid for regular day grounds admission and we encourage you to do so. We do ask that you only wear your volunteer shirt while you are on shift.
  11. Where do I park?
    1. Parking details for 2020 are TBD.
