HSHS Central Illinois Division partners to promote benefits of walking at the Lincoln Land Championship

The Lincoln Land Championship presented by LRS will partner with HSHS Central Illinois Division to promote the health benefits of walking at the 2018 tournament. On Friday, June 29 and Saturday, June 30 spectators will be greeted by representatives from HSHS as they arrive on the course, and the first 75 attendees each day will be gifted with a pedometer as a means to encourage awareness of the steps taken throughout the day.

CEFCU PRESENTS GAMEDAY AT THE LINCOLN LAND CHAMPIONSHIP-NEW EVENT FOR JUNIORS AGES 8 -17

LINCOLN LAND CHAMPIONSHIP ANNOUNCES SPONSOR EXEMPTION - 2018 Big Ten Player of the Year to compete in 2018

The Lincoln Land Championship presented by LRS announced today that 2018 Big Ten Player of the Year, Nick Hardy will compete via sponsor exemption into the tournament. “We are thrilled to continue our partnership with the University of Illinois and can’t wait to see Nick compete next month.” said Executive Director, Kate Peters. “We have had a terrific partnership with Coach Small and the men’s golf program since the inception of this tournament and we hope U of I fans will make plans to join us and support Nick next month.”

LINCOLN LAND CHAMPIONSHIP ANNOUNCES CHARITY CHIP-IN PARTNERS - Tournament week kicks off in 10 weeks

The Lincoln Land Championship presented by LRS announced today that over twenty organizations are signed up to participate in the 2018 Charity Chip-In program. The Charity Chip-In program allows participating not-for-profit organizations to raise money via the sale of general admission tickets to the tournament. One-hundred percent of the proceeds from each ticket sold via Charity Chip-In will go to the organization that is designated by the purchaser during the buying transaction. New in 2018, participating charitable organizations will have an opportunity to compete for additional funds with the top selling organization receiving an extra $500 courtesy of CMC Farms. LINCOLN LAND CHAMPIONSHIP ANNOUNCES SPRINGFIELD NATIVE AS 2018 SPONSOR EXEMPTION

The Lincoln Land Championship presented by LRS announced today that Jake Erickson, a Springfield native and five-time Men’s City Tournament Champion will compete in the 2018 event via sponsor exemption into the tournament. “We are very excited to be able to extend an exemption to Jake for the 2018 tournament. Jake brings not only his tremendous talent to the table but will also give the home-town crowd a local favorite to root for at this year’s event.” said Executive Director, Kate Peters. “We know Jake has seen remarkable success at Panther Creek in the past and we are planning to see significant galleries in attendance to show their support.”
